All the best life has to offer to Paul and Erin on their Marriage. Paul has been my partner for over 30 years. I can't think of another guy I admire and care about more. Send your congratulations to Paul and Erin at KISSONLINE.COM.

As you can tell by the top, we have started shooting our GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS series for A&E. Thirteen (13) episodes have been ordered, and the camera crew is over here, even as I'm typing this.
Can't tell you much about the series at this point, but what I CAN tell you, is that we're going to be real. No script. No fake situations. You might be surprised to know that reality shows aren't so real after all. Most have 'situations' and people 'act out' according to what the producers are looking for.
The cameras will be following me around. I'm involved in a lot of new stuff, and of course I'm proud to be a member of my favorite band, KISS.
Mostly, what I want to do, is to involve YOU. It was you who made my life possible in the first place. That's why I want you to read the notice at the top of the page.
I'm a lucky guy. I've been fortunate enough to be able to have my cake, eat it too...and swallow.
Miss Tweed is a modern, 21st Century Woman. No torture. No petty conversations. She should teach a class to other women...'How To Treat Men." She is the Queen.
My kids -- what can I say. They are about the best students in school, and couldn't be better...but then...
In our home, there are very strict rules...but lots of freedom, too.
There is: No cursing. No smoking (if my kids catch me uttering a no-no, it costs me five bucks...Nick, in particular, has amassed over $1,000.) There is also: No getting high. No drinking.
   None. Period.
If I catch you getting high or being drunk, there is a place in the desert called Tough Love Camp. I don't believe in 'three strikes'. I believe in ONE.
If you cross the street, you better be looking both ways, because you will only get ONE CHANCE to survive. If you cross without looking, you risk getting run over.
Needless to say, it's a happy home. Good fences make good neighbors.
   Rules are good.
   My home.
   My rules.

Gene,

I Just saw a King of the Hill repeat in which you are alleged to have voiced a part. In the episode, Bobby had taken to spreading the word of the Lord through alternative rock music. When Hank showed up at the show to take Bobby home, he encountered a wise, older long-haired fellow named "Pop" who was setting up the band's gear. Was that you?

Bill

Response from Gene:

Yes.

First of all I think its really kool seing the KISS logo on that itunes ad, it lets people know that you guys are still around and in the mix of things. But my real KISS siting is a different kind of one. In Lola by The Kinks, when the backround vocalist starts singing "Well I'm not the world's most masculine man
But I know what I am and I'm glad I'm a man" it sounds almost exactly like your voice, it's pretty kool, did anybody else ever tell you this?

Response from Gene:

Nope. Not me.

CBS' long running YES, DEAR, offered me the Guest Star role in their series ending episode. Although the concept seems like a lot of fun, we could not come to terms, so I passed. Check out the show, anyway.

Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Gene Simmons arrived to the golden gate in heaven and stood in front of God on his throne.

God spoke: Before you get a space beside me I have to ask you what you believe and have faith within?

"I believe music and my guitar is the meaning of life itself. Nothing generates so much joy in to people's lives" said Hendrix. God offered a spot on his left side to Hendrix.

"I think courage, honour and passion is the meaning of life and I have tried to make my music an example of that during my lifetime" said Clapton. God offered a spot on his right side to Clapton

And You Gene, what do you believe? Gene looked up, cleared his throat, spit on the ground and said:
"I believe you are sitting on my chair"

Hi Gene,

I have been noticing A LOT of KISS on television these past few weeks Singular Cel Phone comercial, Mars bar commercial, Rockschool, When KISS ruled the world was on Much Music this past Tuesday, Detroit Rock City aired last week on Much Music as well, your Biography aired on the Biography channel this past weekend and even on a sitcom on Wednesday night called "According to Jim (not me although they should have a show about me) and the main characters dressed up as you and Paul for Halloween and of course the ever popular "My Dad the Rock Star". I am certainly not complaining...I love seeing it, it kind of reminds me of the good old days when there were KISS commercials on TV back in the 70's. It's Awesome but I was just wondering if this is to keep KISS in the minds of the people to make up for the fact that there was no tour or no new albums out...kind of like some kind of marketing ploy? If so it is pretty clever. I knowthat the Live DVD is coming but that isn't for a couple of months. Maybe it is all just a coincidence but keep it coming. I'm enjoying every minute of it...Oh yeah, When are you guys going to come to Toronto or at least close to southern Ontario. I've seen you guys practically every year for the past 20 or so and I just feel like my year isn't complete without seeing you guys this year.

Take Care,
Jim from Niagara

Channel 4 rocks the ratings

The arrival of American rock superstar Gene Simmons at a posh English school, with his black leather coat, sunglasses and bad-ass attitude, on Friday gave Channel 4 its hit of the night. Rock School's proposition - that the Kiss frontman tries to turn 10 classical music-loving children in to a fearsome band who can open for Motorhead - was novel enough to attract 2.1 million viewers at 9.30pm - 10% of the available audience, according to unofficial overnight figures.

The rock masterclass was followed by another new series, comedy sketch show Spoons, with 8% of the audience staying tuned to Channel 4 - 1.5 million people, at 10pm.

The antics of Simmons - who trained as a teacher before his career as a Lycra and make-up clad rock behemoth proved more attractive - almost beat those of the significantly more reserved Stephen Fry on BBC2.

Fry's quiz show QI returned for its third series with guests investigating custard, Cardiff and campanology, among other things, in front of an audience of with 2.3 million, 12% of the available audience.

But the big ratings-pullers of the night were Taggart on ITV1 at 9pm, attracting an average audience of 6.2 million, a 30% share and BBC1's Only Fool and Horses spin-off The Green, Green Grass with 6.5 million viewers at 8.30pm - a 30% share.

Real Wife Swaps on Five at 10.30pm was the channel's hit of the night, with 1 million tuning in to watch the steamy shenanigans of swingers Chris and Lorraine Burns.

I was watching George Lopez last night, and in the scene he is at his friend Ernie's and there was a KISS poster on the door and a second one on a wall. You are all over the small screen. I cant get enough. How about another big screen appearance?  I would love to see something along the same lines of DetroitRockCity.
