Finally done filming in England.
I would imagine you're already read some of the press reports on our "ROCK SCHOOL" project. The people who really make it happen, don't get credit. Ros Ponder, Jo, Grant, Di...they don't mean much to the rest of you. But, they mean a lot to me. They worked their tails off to make this 6 episodic television series into something special. I thank you all.
It will be edited and done by the Spring, I'm told.

Hi Gene
Saturday Night Live did a skit last saturday Nov 20 2004 with Seth Moyers. The skit was called the Coolest Teacher In School. In the intro it showed the teacher with Gene's makeup. I've attached an image.

Just read your piece in the Times (london) today and it made me dig out double platinum to play. Collest thing though is that my 7 year old listened and has been singing "do you love me" all day, thanks for all the Kiss memories!

Dear Gene,
I am starting a campaign to change the name of this planet to "Gene".
Initially I felt that we should seek the UN's approval on this, but I soon came to the conclusion that we should just start calling Earth 'Gene' from now on. Eventually it will catch on and start spreading to the masses.
Our goal: Planet Gene by 2009.
This is an artist's imagining of "Planet Gene" in the year 2009. In this scene, the artist depicts an inebriated Ace Frehley crash-landing his spaceship directly into the planet's matzohball-like surface.
Thank you,
Ross "originals"
Response from Gene:
I keep telling everyone the fans are nuts...I love em.

Hi Gene,
While watching the final of the Australian Idol show, they advertised your Rock School show to be screened next year on Channel 10. The small preview looked exciting. This was brilliant promotion for your show as the Oz idol final was the highest rating show of all year on Australian TV, so many people will have seen the promo. Hope to see you in Australia soon - cant wait to see Rock School

Hello Gene -
Just a kwik note. I saw you on the Jimmy Kimmel show, where you were talking to Uncle Frank on the AMA red carpet. Kool clip. Got some great reminders.
Wear dark glasses (I never leave without `em).
Don`t look too happy or excited.
Act like you just don`t care too much.
At times, I do tend to appear a little over zealous.
Keep doing what you do so well.
Thanks for the reminder.

Thank You

Hi Gene, hope you enjoyed your time in England.
I am sure you have not had time for much TV while here, but have you notice the ad for WANADOO, the ISP company? They have a guy in Simmons make-up checking his lipstick is ok in the men's room mirror!!!!!!!!!
Is there no end to your influence?
Take care

Hey Gene,
I just saw you on the American Music Awards, and you did an excellent job (as usual) You looked very sexy might i add. I only watched it because i knew you would be on it, and also because the perfomances are pretty good. My mother kept trying to pry me away from the television but no such luck because i HAD to wait until you came on before i went to bed. And after i had seen you come on she looked at me like i was insane for watching the show for 2 hours just so i could get a glimpse of you....But thats how it is for me, and hopefully she's getting used to that. Take care, Gene
much love,
Eliza

Just finished presenting on the AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS show with JENNI MCCARTHY, who was lovely and funny as ever. Great times.
Pam Anderson, Lenny Kravitz, Debbie Gibson, Sheryl Crow, Toby Keith were all there...don't you wish you were.
Now I've gotta get my ass on a plane and fly back to England to continue shooting my tv series there. As soon as I'm allowed to talk about it in more detail, I will.

Dear Gene,
I found this very funny ad in our Toronto weekly paper. I had a good chuckle and thought you would too.

Greetings from Blighty.
Blighty means England. It comes from Blight -- as in, it rains every day and is overcast grey.
I'm staying at a hotel that used to be a castle. Looks great. Nothing works. Water temperature runs from boiling hot to freezing cold.
But, I'm in the land of the Beatles -- holy land for me...just because of them.
They changed my life. They made it ok to be different, look different and sound different. They empowered me...and continue to.
I'm filming a British television series -- all six episodes at once.
In a few days, have to fly back to the US, present at the AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS and then fly straight back to London to continue filming.
The series will see the light of day early next year (in a few months, actually). Already cleared for England, Australia and other countries. Do not, as yet know if/when it's coming to the US.
And yes, it IS me reading and answering your emails. No one else. Ever.

KISS ACE NEW SIR AT SCHOOL
Exclusive By Nicola Methven, Tv Editor
A WILD rocker becomes a teacher at a famous British public school in an explosive reality TV show.
Pupils are to get the shock of their lives when their normal music master is replaced by the Kiss frontman Gene Simmons.
Simmons, known for his demonic black and white make-up and extra long tongue, will teach the kids how to rock.
In the series at Christ's Hospital in Horsham, West Sussex, the class will be turned into a band.
Channel 4 chief Andrew Newman is thrilled to have signed the US legend and said: "The culture clash will be hilarious."
Simmons, 55, a primary school teacher before he formed New York-based Kiss in 1972, once said: "Anyone who tells you they got into rock 'n' roll other than for girls, fame and money is full of s***."
Rock School will be screened next year on a new Friday night line-up.

"...I am now married with a three year old daughter. She is a KISS fan already! Here is a photo of her on Halloween dressed up as her favorite super hero "Gene Simmons". It brings me joy to see the positive influence you had on me is now transfering to her. To this day I have not been high or drunk and hope to teach my daughter to live the same way. Thanks for being a great influence on my family! In the words of Jimminy Cricket, "Dreams do come true"...
