 i was watching "Happy Gilmore" the other day and i dont know if anyone has mentioned this but oh well. Adam Sandler's grandmother in the movie wears your face mask when his dad dies and he has to go live with her.
She wears it to cheer him up. :-)

July 29th -
On one of our off days (Monday, the 26th of July), I went into New York to meet with execs of a Television Network. They pitched a series idea they had for me. And we also spoke about another of my projects. We will see if this is all worth doing. More news later.
Met with a JEANS COMPANY (name cannot be mentioned just yet) to discuss a GeneJeans line...and yes, there will also be a GeneJeannies line for the girls. AND, they will be a Kid GeneJeans and Kid GeneJeannies line. AND, they will be t-shirts, hats, bathing suits, bathrobes and more. The logo for the line will be my MONEYBAG LOGO.
This is a few months away from becoming real. But, it WILL BE REAL.
A BRITISH TELEVISION PROD COMPANY has offered me a six episode reality show. We are agreed, in principle on the deal points and when all the subtleties and legalities are finalized, I will post details.
I will be roasted by the BEVERLY HILLS FRIARS CLUB on Dec 3rd. This will also be filmed for television.
And, unless you've been living under a rock someplace, KISS continues to dominate. We have been touring since last August. We will wind it up at the end if this August. Only a few shows remain. Two days ago I appeared on FOX & FRIENDS in the early morning talking about our Instant Live cd's that available at the end of each nights concert.
In the Green Room, I chatted with former New York Governor MARIO CUOMO. He has a new book out, which he was there promoting. We both shook hands and started lightly talking politics -- economic politics. In short, Gov Cuomo thought the present is a half empty glass of water. And, I believe it's half full.
The following day, SPIKE television execs came up to my hotel room to discuss a variety of projects we plan on doing with each other. More news as it develops.
Then, met with the new President of MARVEL COMICS for, (you guessed it) a proposed new KISS COMICS series...as well as a brand new generation of toys and games.
At the Jones Beach/New York concert, I ran into promoter/manager DAVID FISHOF, who has a new business venture we may do together -- it encompasses live events with a television window.
Was offered a role in an Independent movie that shoots at the end of August, but I am not available. So, I passed.
Director DAMIAN LICHTENSTEIN (3,000 Miles To Graceland) called to talk about his new movie, which shoots at the end of August as well. May not be available. We will see.
In the meantime, I am scheduled to shoot the Debut episode of the new season of NBC's THIRD WATCH on August 19th and 20th. I will be appearing in the recurring role of the Crime Lord.
I guess I don't look Swiss...

Just saw the world premiere of the new Trick Pony video, "The Bride" with you as the "minister"! it's great! Looks like everyone had a good time! did you catch it yet? what's really cool is at the end, they put in a bunch of out-takes in the final 15 or so seconds that are a riot. I forget the singer's name (She musta bent over) But she looked "Hotter Than Hell" in that Kiss t-shirt!

They weren't up onstage performing one hell of a show. They didn't "deserve" it. You on the other hand did. I attended your Portland show on June 22nd and was blown away! I was fortunate enough to stand on the stage and watch the show with my girlfriends:) This was the fourth time I have seen KISS and it just gets better and better!!! Hope you are feeling better and make it back this way again.

Been busier than ever. KISS concert halls are full. Everyone is having a ball. The fans seem to be having the time of their lives and the band is straight, professional and happy to be on stage. No whiners, no losers, no excuses. It's great.
Two or three days ago, on one of our off days, I went into the studio to do the final vocal overdubs for my forthcoming A&E GENE SIMMONS ASSHOLE 24/7 tv special. Our friends at A&E seem very happy with the project. When I know the broadcast date, I will post it.
POLLSTAR magazine (the industry concert touring magazine) just posted KISS #2 for the week. Thanks to all of you out there.
NBC's THIRD WATCH has asked me to reprise my crime lord role in the season opener. I was due to film my segment on the 19th of July...but it is being moved to August. More news as it happens.
England's UK HALL OF FAME will interview me tomorrow regarding DIANA ROSS and LED ZEPPELIN.
And, the following day, I meet with English television producers about a proposed television project.
And, of course, that night, I get to wear more makeup and higher heels than your mommy, when I join my bandmates on stage in Boston.

Well it's the biggest Flower-float of Europe , taking place in Zundert (Holland) every first sunday of September.
This year is a special one, for us.
We have made a design of a flowercar from the hottest band in the world.
It's seize are 20 meters long and about 9 meters up into the sky.

 I came home from work late one evening last week and caught part of the Jimmy Kimmel Show. When he was finished interviewing Nicole Richie and they were cutting to commercial, his house band went into "Detriot Rock City" it was awesome!

He had the time of his life and received so much attention and so many request for photographs, that we would not have believed it if we had not seen it for ourselves. Everytime he passed by a crowd of people and did his Gene Simmons impressions, they would just go crazy. Alot of people also thought it was very cool that you pointed at him in the crowd and that his face appeared on your huge screen twice..."
