Attended the NAMM convention in Anaheim, Calif. The convention is the place where the music industry showcases its wares -- amplifiers, guitars and so on. Estimates put the attendance at over 30 thousand. I walked through the convention floor with a group of people taking fotos for GENE SIMMONS TONGUE magazine, as well as video taping stuff for an upcoming TV reality show.

Hordes of fans and friends came over to say hello. Some seemed surprised it was so easy to come over to chat or take fotos with me. If I haven't said it enough times before, let me say it again. I want to talk to you, as much as you want to talk with me. Sometimes it's difficult to chat with everyone in a group of a thousand surrounding me, but I at least try to make eye contact. All of you make my life possible and it's something I never forget.

If you haven't been checking out KISSONLINE.COM for all the latest news, here's a capsule summary of the upcoming KISS Concerts -- Feb 28th, Melbourne Stadium - the KISS SYMPHONY with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (in full KISS makeup) March 11th, 12th and 13th in Tokyo, Japan at the Budokan. All three shows SOLD OUT IN ADVANCE. Due to overwhelming demand, a fourth show has been added on March 15th in Yokohama...... March 16th at the Palms Hotel Casino. This one is a very limited capacity.

The entire GENE SIMMONS TONGUE staff is coming over to finalize our fourth issue layouts. It's looking great!!! We have: a JACK NICHOLSON interview, beautiful SHAWNA LAMA-SAND foto layout, SANDRA BERNHARDT, TRAVIS TRITT (yep..I interviewed him), Marvel's AVI ARRAD talking about his comic book empire, beautiful NIKKI ZIERING foto layout, GIRLS GONE WILD's Joe Francies and tons more.

Be on the lookout for issue #4 in a few weeks.

Meantime, I will drop by the upcoming NAAM music instrument convention in Anaheim to talk with some of the companies. Come up and say hi.

I'm also carrying around a small camera to record a sort of "day in the life" segment for Larry Thompson's upcoming tv series CELEBRITY something or other...I'll get the title and post it. Can't remember what it's called right now.

Finishing off my next book for my book imprint, SIMMONS BOOKS. It will be coming out around April.
