Hey Gene,

Just wanted to thank you again for the wonderful Meet & Greet experience at the Indy KISS concert. I purchased your stage-played Axe that night and you and your staff could not have been any more hospitable! Paul and Billy went out of their way to make our evening perfect! Thought I'd send some photos from that night and say that if anyone out there is thinking about purchasing a stage-played guitar from Gene, then get off your A$$ and get it done - you will not regret it!
It's a night we'll never forget...
Chad

Recently I re-discovered Kiss, after hardly listening to it since the band first walked onto a stage in the early-1970's, after doing twenty years in the United States Navy, and after nearly ten years of post-Naval retirement. I decided to listen to a few tracks and videos posted to YouTube, then I read a bio of you, which contained the following quote:
"I wasn't born here. But, I have a love for this country and its people that knows no bounds. I will forever be grateful to America for going into World War II, when it had nothing to gain, in a country that was far away...and rescued my Mother from the Nazi German Concentration Camps.
She is alive and I am alive because of America."
After reading what you had written on that page, it struck me that you had also done service to America in your own way; it may not have been military, but to me a patriot is someone who uses word or deed to defend this country.
Your words count as patriotism, Gene Simmons, and I for one am glad you're a fellow American.
Sincerely,
Brian Macdonald

Hi Gene,
I am sure you probably won't read this, but here goes.
A good friend of mine and his girlfriend come over to our house quite a bit
and we were talking about your show, Gene Simmons family jewels. His
girlfriend said her Grandfather was a dentist in the Kansas City area and
had a story for us.
She said one day in his office, his assistant said a young man was involved
in a fight or something and had some teeth broken and needed some dental
work but had not money. Her Grandfather fixed the teeth for the man for
free. She said the young man was you.
Do you remember this? I was just wondering if the story was true and if it
is, is the story correct?
Thanks,
Todd
Response from Gene:
Well. I have never lived in Kansas City. And I have never been in a fight in my life (not one that goes back and forth -- I HAVE knocked out someone for saying something about my mother, and head butted someone who came at me high on meth... but no fights. Zero.)

Dear Gene,
My son Bennett is a huge fan of yours. For the past two years he has dressed as you for Halloween. His room is decorated with KISS and hockey. Bennett will be turning 8 on Friday, August 6th- the day we are seeing your show in Camden, NJ. It would be an amazing surprise and present if you could wish him a happy birthday. He is one of your biggest youngest admirers. In his Hebrew school class, he was asked to write about an inspirational Jewish person and he chose you!
I have attached a picture of him from Halloween.
Thanks in advance!
Sincerely,
Elisa Bobrin

Hi Mr. Simmons:
My fiance and I are considering getting married in Las Vegas this November. We shopped the Internet and could not find the Demon anywhere as an option to marry us. Is there a place that provides a Demon Impersonator wedding? Let us know.
Mark
Response from Gene:
Ask your religious leader to dress up. Waddya think?

Gene,

girlfriend, cause ur the best gene and i think u would be the best person to ask.
-Someone whose too embarrassed to say their name
Response from Gene:
Walk up with a flower in your hand, and a smile on your face. And say "I'm _____, and I'd like to know if you'd let me buy you a Coke..."
Try it.

Dear Gene,
I just finished reading a response you wrote in April to some postings you received on your website. Undoubtedly, some were bashing you for comments you have made regarding political matters. I HOPE TO GOD you post this! I , in all my 44yrs, have never read anything that touched me in the way you did. I was born in America, and I am not sure I have ever heard some of my fellow born-Americans speak about this country as passionately as you. I was blown away! I read it 5 times and then to my husband and 18yr old son.
I think we take being "Americans" for granted. We wake up and go about our day, not stopping to think there are people dying to give us the right to make our own choices, and that there so many in the world who are told what their day will be. I was fortunate to have lived in Venezuela, for a while, when I was 12yrs. It breaks my heart to see what it has become. It is a beautiful land and people. In that day, they loved America. I was treated as royalty. I hope some day their freedom will be returned to them . I would love to take my children there.
I am rambling ...but I did want you to know, I loved what you had to say, about "Our" beautiful country. T here are no others to compare. THANK YOU...for your love and devotion to this country, and for the music you have given to all the world.

Mr. Simmons,
I watched you're show last night and I didn't realize that you lived in Jackson Heights and went to I.S. 145. I went to the same school from 1964-66 and we both had Mr. Friedman. Thank you for allowing me to reminisce from my days there.
Also, I was wondering if you played Slapball in the park during lunch?
Thanks for reading,
Robert Stewart
Response from Gene:
Yes. I did.
But we called it Handball. Or, (though it's now politically incorrect to say so...) we used to call it "Chinese".

Thank you so much for making my Nephew and great nephew’s day! You are an amazing guy to take a few minutes with them ;)
You truly are a class act! And Miss Shannon is so sweet! This is a day the kids and myself will never forget!
Xoxoxo
Shannon

Why do you think you are so great? You aren't any more important than anyone else. You need to brought back to earth.
Scott
Response from Gene:
Thanks for the kind words, but I would offer the following. Have a healthy self confident attitude about yourself. It's good for you. The result however, is that those that DON'T have a healthy sense of themselves are jealous. Like you. See???
But as for "being more important than anyone else" -- we are all equal, in a sense. But in the real world, we are not. And never have been. And never will be.
Someone will always be smarter than you are.
Someone will always be stronger than you are.
Someone will always be faster, better looking... ad infinitum.
No, we're not equal... and Mother Nature never intended for us to be.
